Current Objectives
These are the objectives I am focusing on at the moment
1) To
select the ideal location for the cornfield and agro-processing plant using
the Factor Rating Method.
2) To
determine the best machinery required to cultivate and manufacture the corn
into corn flour.
3) To
outline the human resource structure needed on the cornfield and
agro-processing plant.
4) To determine the start-up capital and costs associated to begin the agricultural and manufacturing processes.
Do not underestimate the importance of determining the manpower requirements as this is a major cost of the enterprise. Beside the salary, there are other costs associated with each employee. This could sometimes double the cost of a new employee. Consider various types of contracts such as virtual, part-time, etc for example do you need a fully qualified accountant full-time or would an accounting clerk or technician do with oversight by an accountant once a month or once a quarter?
